I have a few kits to show you that are in the $2 bin this week….just a little eye candy to make you want that kit even more!  This is a long post with lots of inspiration and fun layouts so don’t check out on me too soon!

The first is Scrappin Serenity’s Put Me In Coach and the Put Me In Coach Quick Pages.   Does your little one love to throw the ball around, or play in little league?  Or maybe you have a big baseball star in the family?! Then “Put Me In Coach” is definitely the kit for you!!

Here is the page I created with it using instructions from Speed Scrap 277.  I did this page for the Word of the Week Challenge at Stuff to Scrap which is learn.  My son is still learning when to swing and when not to swing the bat.  He is getting better at it.

The second kit I want to show you is also by Scrappin Serenity, The Boy and The Boy Quickpages.

Here is a cute page I did back in June for the Word of the Week challenge…Isn’t he cute!?
I had to add in a second page of The Boy.  The colors are very versatile and fun to work with

The next two kits I want to show you are from Designs by Snowlady.  The first is Boys of Summer.  With some bright summer colors, this kit is great for your summertime photos.

I did this fun page for last weeks Word of the Week challenge at Stuff to Scrap.  The word was summertime and even though it isn’t on the page it is the feel of the page.  Boys of Summer is a great kit for all kinds of photos, not just summer so be sure you grab it!  The Word Art on this page is from Elegant Word Art by Bethany!

The second kit from Designs by Snowlady is Shine.  This brightly colored kit is great for your everyday type photos.

My page for Shine comes from a Challenge of the Week back in June where we had to use an acrostic poem

The next amazing designer I want to highlight for you is Lovely Creations who also has 2 amazing kits in the $2 bin.  The first is Preschooler.  Do you have a little one starting school? Then this kit is right for you. Preschooler is great to scrap those first day of preschool. Preschooler has great colors for boys and girls. Great for all photos with little preschoolers. Don’t forget to check out the matching word art.

Lastly is the amazing Cupcake Creations which she has made into a full sized kit!  Cupcake Creations is great to scrap those wonderful cupcakes you will bake. The colors for this kit are soft and elegant, also great for any girly scrapping. Cupcake Creations has 35 elements, 15 papers, and 1 full alpha and numbers 0-9.

This page uses the full kit as well as Lovely Creations Template Set 1

Okay now that you have a ton of wonderful ideas and a huge wish list, head on over to Stuff to Scrap and buy these kits!  Go on…what are you waiting for??  🙂

Explore the World…

Do you like the great outdoors or have kids that like to play outside.  Exploration is a fabulous earthy kit for all those great outdoors pictures.  I have to admit that when I saw this kit and its earthy colors I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with it but once I started playing with it the pages just flowed.  There are a lot of great elements in this kit that are perfect for all kinds of photos.  Head on over the her Stuff to Scrap store to grab it today while it is on sale for $2.50!

Designs by Snowlady will also be offering the alpha as a freebie on her blog.

Here are two pages I created for challenges over at Stuff to Scrap.  The first is for the Challenge of the week last week.  We were to use the color blue in our layout or title.  I chose a phrase with blue, Out of the Blue.

This second page was done for the Twitter challenge where we were to edit pictures for the page.  I used a colorizing effect from Pioneer Woman.  I had fun scattering the lizards all over the page….how many can you find?  My 6 year old had fun hunting for them on the page and outside.

Now a freebie!  I created a fun word art for you to use on your pages!  You can grab it HERE

Remember to leave some love if you download my work! I love reading your comments!

Quit Playing Games!

I have a new kit for you today!  I am proud to say that I am a Mess Maker for Pardon the Mess.  The newest kit available from Pardon the Mess is Quit Playing Games!

Sara from Pardon the Mess describes the kit:
In the fall my family are all hard-core University of Georgia fans. In America, particularly in the south, everyone who loves football loves a certain team. The Dawgs are my team and I wanted to create a fun kit to reflect that. BUT this kit is not just for football or UGA fans! I’ve included lots of elements that aren’t football related at all.

The element set includes a jersey maker so you can put custom jersey numbers and names on them to fit your favorite players!

You can purchase the full kit here

Instead of an alpha, Sara included word bits which are a lot of fun to use.  You can pick up the word bits here

There are also 20 styles available to purchase here

I used the kit to scrap my son’s soccer pictures.  He has been playing on the same team for 4 season now and the colors work wonderfully with his uniform.  I used shapes from photoshop and the styles to create the frames.  I used the styles for the text as well.  I really enjoyed working with the elements of this kit.  They all just flow together easily and make for a great page.

Here is a freebie quickpage for you that I created using this fabulous kit.  You can download it here.  Be sure to head on over the Pardon the Mess to check out what other freebies may be available.  Also be sure to check out the other members of the Mess Makers and the fabulous layouts they created with this kit.  You will not be disappointed.

Please leave me some love if you download my work and I would love to see what you do with it as well so send me a message or a link to your layouts!  Happy Scrapping!

Back to School!

Have your kiddos gone back to school?  Mine never leaves…he is homeschooled.  There are some days I wish I could toss him on that yellow bus as it drives by in the morning but those days are few.  I love teaching him and watching him learn.  It is hard some days with an adorable 13 month old running around but we manage.  Lovely Creations has a fun new kit out to scrapbook those school days or the little artist you may have at home.  The colors are versatile for boy or girl pages.  There are scissors, glue, rulers and even that wonderful yellow bus.  Head on over to Stuff to Scrap today and grab this fun kit.

The elements

The fun papers

You can also get the word art here.

I used the kit to scrapbook our school room as part of the Social Network Challenge at Stuff to Scrap.  We were to scrap a getting ready for school page.  We don’t have the back to school shopping, laying out clothes or packing lunches so I decided to document pictures of our school room….when it WAS clean.  It does not look like this during the school year.

I also used it to scrap some pictures I took four years ago of my son in preschool at home.  We were learning the letter A and the shape squares.  He was gluing squares to the letter A.  I just love his cheesy smile!

Lovely Creations creative team has an awesome set of freebies for you this week!  We all created 7 x 5 brag book pages.  I created three for you that you can grab here.  I created a page to document the first day.  I think it is fun to write down sizes, weight, height and compare it to the end of the year to see how much they have grown in a year.  I also think it is neat to write down their favorites…subjects, books, field trips and projects are what I listed but the possibilities are endless.  Finally, I created a page to showcase your budding little artist.  The font used on the pages is Stars From Our Eyes and you can download it for free here.

You can grab more brag book pages from the other members of the Lovely Creations Team!

Remember to leave some love for me and the other fabulous ladies.  As always I love to read your comments and I would love to see how you are using my freebies!
