Joyful Noise and freebies!

My favorite part of Christmas is the music and the lights!  What is your favorite?  I created Joyful Noise around this cute caroling reindeer and his cute mouse friend.  My oldest son is going to be in his first ever Christmas Pageant in a few weeks and I look forward to scrapping those fun photos.  Joyful Noise is a fun kit with traditional Christmas colors that will be perfect for scrapping any and all of your fun Christmas moments.  Check out these cute pages my girl’s and I created:

So cute right?  I hope to be back with more later in the month since this kit is the December Quickpage Exchange kit at Stuff to Scrap!  As a bonus freebie for you I have created a quickpage style for you to use to make your quickpages!  It will be free until December 7.  It has been tested in Photoshop CS6.  Please do not share this style, send them here to grab it or my store after December 7.  You can grab it HERE.  I have not checked this in other programs yet so please, please let me know if you have any problems with it at all.

Now let’s look at this amazing kit!

I Wanna Be a Cowboy!

Week 3 of Design Quest at Scrapping Fairytales ends tomorrow and as usual I get my kit done at the last minute.  This weeks challenge was to use stars.  I wanted to think outside the box on this one and went with a Lone Star State inspired kit..aka: Texas!  You can grab I Wanna Be a Cowboy by clicking on the image to go to Scrapping Fairytales where you can download this kit as well as many others.  Links will only be good for a week (mine are up a bit longer) so be sure you have grabbed Bad Piggies and Just Chill as well.

Here is a page I scrapped using this mini kit as well…

Just Chill!

Week 2 of Design Quest at Scrapping Fairytales has come to a close and I have created Just Chill for you!  We were given a monochromatic color scheme and asked to add a pop of color.  The pop of color could only be on the elements.  I had a lot of fun creating my main character…a polar bear.  He is too cute and fuzzy!  You can download the mini kit at Scrapping Fairytales this week along with many other fun minis.

Here is a peek at my mini and a fun layout I created!

Remember to also grab Bad Piggies and the freebies before I take them down….There is a freebie on my facebook page as well as here on the blog.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

First Day of School!

My oldest child started 3rd grade at the public school after being homeschooled since kinder and my sweet 2 year old started Mother’s Day out.  My boys and I did great with the change!  Public school was the best choice for Cooper, even though I still wish I could homeschool him.  Caden man has always been by my side or dad’s.  He never would take a bottle the first year so this Mama was never too far away.  This year has been a year of growth and changes for us all.  Hubby and I took a 10 day vacation and left both kiddos with grandparents and now school!

I used my newest kit Chalk Talk to document the back to school moments.  I still can’t believe my baby is in third grade!  The planets on the blue paper are a photoshop CS6 brush that I was playing with since Cooper’s favorite subject is Science.

Caden had a great first day at Mother’s Day Out!  He went right in and played with the toys while we waited for the teacher to get there.  On the way to “school” he kept saying church so he knew where “school” was located.  He learned about his colors, shapes, numbers and animals.  He even brought home a cute art project where he stuck stickers on a sheet and colored a horse.  These two pages were done for two of the challenges I am hosted this week at Stuff to Scrap.  I am hosting the Word of the Week for the whole month and this weeks word is LEARN!  I am also hosting the Challenge of the Week for this week.  Your challenge is to find a favorite layout in the Stuff to Scrap gallery and scraplift it…easy enough right?  My Yee Haw page is a scraplift of Tamila’s awesome art page you can see here.  Remember with the challenges you earn points and with those points you can earn a gift certificate to the store!  You have until tomorrow night to get your layouts in for this weeks challenges but there are a lot of other great challenges that last all month!

What’s Happening at Stuff to Scrap!

A new month, a new set of challenges, fun, and events at Stuff to Scrap!

Labor Day Sale

Stuff to Scrap is having a fun Labor Day Sale — 35% off!! — as well as lots of great Labor Day Activities! Check out this thread in the forum for more information!

STS Designer Mega Collab

Each month a set of our talented designers get together to create one amazing collab! Did you know that Grandparents Day is September 9th? And what better kit to use to make cute hybrid cards and gift albums for them than with Stuff to Scrap’s newest Designer Mega Collab, Grandparents Day.

Act quickly! If you purchase the kit in the first week of its release, you can get the quick pages for free!
September Build-a-Kit

This month, the BAK is working a little differently than in the past! First of all, the designers were only given a palette with a general theme of “new things”. So this month’s BAK includes all kinds of new things, new home, new baby, new school year, and more! All in this super adorable palette! Also new this month, when you purchase a build-a-kit pack, you get a cluster pack created from the various Build-a-Kit packs for free!!! Just download a text file included with your purchase to find the coupon code for the clusters.

Here’s a view of the cluster pack you get for free with your purchase!

I didn’t make a kit this month but I did have the opportunity to work with two designers parts: Growing Pains Scrapped and Designs By Snowlady both had a home theme.
Growing Pains Scrapped created Just Moved
Designs by Snowlady’s part makes a great compliment to the above kit: Dream House is great for all those home projects or building that dream home

CU Grab Bag

This month’s CU Grab Bag was centered on the theme of Hobbies! “Get a Hobby” is a great mix of commercial-use products you designers can use for creating kits. A great way to add variety to your commercial use stash at a great bargain!

New Challenges!

A new month means a new set of challenges over at Stuff to Scrap! What’s at stake? Every challenge has a number of points you earn for completing them, usually 5-10 points and bonus points for using 90% STS products. Once you reach 500 points, you earn a $5 gift certificate to the store! Awesome! Now you can grab that kit you have been drooling over!

Along with challenges comes Speed Scraps!  Join B2N2 Scraps at a Labor Day speed scrap on Monday, September 3rd at 730 PM CST at the STS forum and in the chat room.  Come for an hour of fun and create a great layout!

You’ll get a great participation prize for completing your layout.  Take a look at this fun kit!

Come visit us at the Stuff to Scrap forum where fun stuff is always going on!

By the Seashore

Cutie Fruity has a new kit in stores: By the Seashore is a great kit for scrapping all those beach adventures you have had over the summer.  She collaborated with Digital Scrap Fun so be sure to check out her part as well.

It is August and at Stuff to Scrap that means new challenges!  I love the challenges at Stuff to Scrap because they keep me scrapping and help me when I am stuck in a rut.  This page was done for the recipe challenge at Stuff to Scrap.  Cutie Fruity is running this challenge this month and she has given us some fun parts to put together for an amazing layout.

This second page features a template from Queen Wild: Shape Up!

Here is a closer look at the two kits, both available at Stuff to Scrap!

How about a little freebie?  I created a fun paper stacker for you to help get you started on scrapping those fun beach adventures!  Click on image to download.  If you run across any problems just let me know…it is pretty late here so I may be a bit sleepy.  Remember to leave some love, I enjoy hearing from you!
